Presidential Candidate Mike Huckabee, at AADE

Former governor of Arkansas and presidential candidate Mike Huckabee, delivering the keynote address at AADE. His charismatic speech about the impact of diabetes on America got us thinking about the role of government in changing Americans' behavior. Mr. Huckabee said that often government intervention needs to come after cultural change. We applaud, however, everything he has pushed through in Arkansas to curb obesity - if we're waiting for cultural change, we'll be waiting a long time. Maybe forever.
